Well, to be more precise.... my baby blue and white powder sky photo got features in ~Disco-Science's Sky. #4 news.

At the time I'm writing this I have gathered together 4444 favorites since the day I'm a member of deviantART. If you go through my you'll see how my taste has changes in the past and I guess this change will be going on in the future as well. You'll notice that in the early past there are much more nude works between my faves than before, mostly because in the last time I'm kinda chasing fantastic and beautiful photos in the Artistic Nude section of dA than I did before, but I have to say that these days it's sometimes hard to find something in there to really like, because in my opinion people are submitting a lot of crap into that section lately. Some works showing up there are submitted in the wrong section, it would be o.k. if it's only one work, accidents happen, but an entire series... Come on guys, there are other ways to make people check out your work. Also, there are pieces that are simply a "NO GO", they're violating the submission policy and well, if I see such a submission, you can be sure I'm reporting it. I don't want to be an ass, but hey ... I don't wanna see such photos here and I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking this way.

What else am I up to... Well, I work, take photos ( but fail in makin' something great ), hang around facebook, and ... well ... etc. etc. etc.
I'm thinking about redesigning my website, this time I'll go with the "Less is more" thing, something simple, nothing special, will focus on the content and not on the layout that much. I wanna make my work easier accessible, and will probably make my work available directly from my website.... I'll have to see when this is gonna happen 'cos this is only a matter of free time.

Stuff to buy... I wanna buy an 8GB SanDisk Extreme III CompactFlash card, so I can shoot in RAW on some shows. Right now, with the 2GB card I can take only 197 photos in RAW, with an 8GB this could be much more also I need a flash, I think Canon Speedlite 430EX II would be just fine and also would need one or two lenses ... I'm thinking about the Sigma 17-70mm f2.8 or Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 XR Di , both are in the same price range and they would suite my needs. Being able to shoot at not well lightened places and being able to get as much things on the photo as possible but also zoom in a little bit more than with a 18-55mm is what I need. The Tamron 28-105 f2.8 would be even better but this would hurt my bank account pretty much so I have to go with the cheaper one. And also a bag, Thinking about the Vanguard - Oregon 32. I think next month I gonna get the CF card and the next month the bag.

What to say ... I'm in Germany right now, staying for another week and a half, relaxing, surfing, fixing some web things and such things. What else should I say ..... oh, I'm on facebook, virb, myspace, last.fm, Twitter, flickr, hotornot.de ( yeah... I got bored a couple of years ago so I joined the site ) and some other sites ( I can't find the URL's in my bookmarks right now )...so If you wanna add me to your friends/contact list ... don't hesitate.

. . . whenever I upload something big, dA is about to go into maintenance mode and my upload gets screwed up. Today I did a manimalistic female wallpaper pack. I uploaded the .zip file, then the preview image and click o.k. and somethings gone wrong . . . I see only the preview image. I go to edit the deviation and look . . . there it is, the zip file. I use it as file, wanna upload a preview and dang, some error shows up. I check some other stuff and see that maintenance mode is running. Fine . . . there it is, the description says you can get a whole bunch of wallpapers but acutally you get only one. Anyway, I fixed this little problem, but it's realy annoying that everytime I upload something bigger than 250kb (and isn't a phot) this happens. This tells me that I won't upload the matching logon screen pack from home, 'cos I don't wanna fall aswleep while MB's of data will be uploaded on my sucking 56K connection, or even have to do this more than one time.

About the previous couple of shots I've uploaded . . . well, I was playing around with my camera, the lenses and the different different possible settings, so be sure that more such stuff will come in the future, depending on how much I'm experimenting and how successful those experiments will be.
